AstraZeneca again partners with Avon for the Kiss Good bye to Breast Cancer campaign

On its 3^rd year of partnership with Avon, AstraZeneca continues to support its Kiss Good bye to Breast Cancer (KGBC) campaign.  This campaign is geared towards raising awareness and funds to support the crusade against the disease. KGBC was launched locally in partnership with the Philippine Cancer Society.

Avon is celebrating its 30^th anniversary this year and the campaign is again highlighted by the annual Avon Walk. KGBC is aiming to set a record and is calling on all Filipinos to show their support for breast cancer by helping Avon Walk here in the Philippines one of the biggest in the world.

Avon is targeting 30,000 or more participants for this year’s “I Walk with 30,000 for a Healthier Tomorrow”. This 3-km non-competitive walk will be simultaneously held on 5 October 2008, 6am, Sunday, at 16 different locations nationwide.
