President's Message

Dear everyone

I would like to thank all of those who joined us in the Avon Breast Cancer Walk last 5 October. As with the previous years, the 2008 “I Walk With 30,000 for a Healthier Tomorrow” was a resounding success.  Aside from the main event in Mall of Asia, the walk was simultaneously held in 16 other locations around the Philippines.  According to Avon, there were 40,000 walkers who showed their support for breast cancer that day. Around 350 AstraZeneca employees together with their families and friends joined the walk nationwide and showed their commitment in the fight against the disease.

The fight against breast cancer does not stop here. We should do our part in educating the Filipino people and letting them know that early detection and treatment remains the best protection against breast cancer. Rest assured, AstraZeneca will always be in the forefront of bringing the most meaningful difference in patient health through great medicines.
